THE CHILDHOOD

When I was three years old, I was an active, curious boy. Every day was an adventure for me. Growing up in a large, fully furnished house, what made me happiest was the times I held my mother's hand and walked in the flower garden in front of the house. My two older sisters often taught me simple games, from puzzles to coloring, helping me develop a rich imagination about the world around me. Although my parents were always busy with work, they still took time to play and read stories to me every night. That instilled in me a love for books and discovering new stories of life, curious about the world around me.

First steps with two sisters

Since childhood, my life has been filled with wonderful memories alongside my two older sisters. Chi, with her calm and mature nature, often looked after me and taught me how to build things and color. One of my most cherished memories is of the evenings when the three of us would sit together at the table, with Chi patiently guiding me as I put together Lego pieces into simple models. Though I was initially clumsy, her support helped me gradually become skilled at assembling my favorite car designs. Meanwhile, Chau, with her energetic and joyful spirit, often played outdoor games with me. We would run around and explore nature, with Chau showing me how to find insects beneath the leaves. Our laughter echoed throughout the garden, and for me, those moments were not only fun but also an opportunity to learn about the world.

One unforgettable memory was my first day of primary school, when I was incredibly anxious. Chau, who was in fourth grade at the time, understood how I felt and held my hand throughout the entire walk. "Don’t worry, I'll be there if you need me," she said, which made me feel safe. After school, Chau would often take me out for ice cream, turning each day at school into something more enjoyable and fun. As for Chi, she never missed a chance to help me with my homework or read books with me. There was one time when Chi spent the whole afternoon helping me finish a drawing I was struggling with. That picture of a house and family ended up being the first artwork I ever had displayed in class. I felt incredibly proud to tell everyone that I had made it with Chi's help.

When I was 6, my family experienced a deeply special moment, the day our youngest brother was born. It was a bright summer day, and my sisters, Chi and Chau, and I were filled with excitement. We had long awaited this new addition to our family, and despite being young, we felt a unique joy. I remember the hospital that day, after hours of anxious waiting, we finally heard our baby brother's first cry. That tiny but strong sound washed away our worries. Chi held my hand and said, "We have a new family member now, so always protect and love him as I’ve loved you." In that moment, I felt a deep joy and anticipation as I welcomed him. Watching him sleep peacefully in my mother’s arms was an unforgettable sight, one that became my earliest notion of happiness. I made a promise to myself to always protect and cherish him, just as Chi and Chau had done for me.

And so, we began a new chapter as a complete and happy family. I felt luckier than ever to have so many siblings by my side. We grew up together, sharing stories and experiences that not everyone gets to have—playing sports, cooking, and learning art together. Our family trips to America and Europe were especially meaningful to me, as they not only allowed me to explore the world and broaden my knowledge but also to do so with my closest loved ones. Each stage of my life became a bright spot, where I found joy and strength to face any challenges that came my way.

The Greatness of my Parents

As I began going through the changes of puberty, there were times when I felt frustrated with myself and even with my parents. However, instead of scolding me, they always listened and tried to understand how I was feeling. I still vividly remember one instance when I didn’t perform well on a math test, a subject I had always been confident in. I felt deeply disappointed in myself, which led to a period of demotivation and reluctance to study. My father sat down next to me and said, "It’s not about whether you make mistakes, but how you face them and fix them that matters." He patiently reviewed the math problem with me, gently pointing out my errors and guiding me through the solution in a way that no schoolteacher could match in terms of care and enthusiasm. His advice helped me grow stronger, teaching me how to face challenges in my studies and keeping an open mind, knowing that even when I make mistakes, there’s always an opportunity to correct them.

My family has taken many domestic and international trips, and these journeys have become some of the most cherished memories of my childhood. One of the most special traditions was our annual visits to my grandfather in Phu Quoc, one of Vietnam's most stunning coastal areas. My parents would take me to explore flower gardens, discover hidden beaches, and immerse ourselves in the untouched wilderness of the island's preserved forests. I can still vividly recall the joy of following my father on these adventures, tiring but full of opportunities to learn about nature. In the evenings, our family would gather in my grandfather's flower-filled garden, listening to my mother's fairy tales under the starry sky. These simple, yet beautiful moments were a recurring part of my life, filling me with happiness and gratitude for the life my family has given me, inspiring me to pursue my dreams with determination.

When I was in high school and wanted to pursue my passion for basketball more seriously by joining the school team, I felt pressured, worried that practice might interfere with my studies. However, my parents not only supported my decision but also helped me find a balance between academics and sports. My father would often take me to practice every morning, working on shooting and passing drills with me. Meanwhile, my mother was always busy preparing nutritious meals to ensure I had enough energy for practice. Unlike many parents who restricted their children from playing sports to focus on studying, my parents’ unconditional support allowed me to continue without hesitation. As a result, I gradually became more confident, passionate, and successful on the school basketball team.

Not only are my siblings amazing people, but my parents are truly the most wonderful parents in the world. Throughout every stage of my life, I can always picture my father, with his graying hair, and my mother, who is both modern and radiates warmth and devotion. One of my fondest memories is when my dad would take me for walks in the park near our home. Each afternoon, he patiently held my hand as I learned to ride a bike, always encouraging me no matter how many times I fell. He would often say, "As long as you try, you'll succeed." Meanwhile, my mother followed closely behind, smiling and taking care of every little detail, from adjusting my clothes to comforting me when I got tired.

MY FAMILY

Throughout my life, from childhood to adulthood, my parents were not just my caregivers but also my companions and the greatest teachers I could have. The beautiful memories we shared strengthened my bond with them and deepened my understanding of the value of love and sacrifice. Every phase of my journey, from taking my first steps to making important decisions as I grew older, was shaped by their guidance. These moments left lasting impressions and became a powerful source of motivation, helping me mature and develop.

From a family boy to a teen with big dreams in tech and art.

The memories shared with my parents and siblings shaped a warm and joyful childhood, nurturing me with a heart full of love and compassion for others. As my family's happiness formed a solid foundation, I began exploring my own interests, particularly in technology and music. My father’s enthusiasm for technological innovations, which was also his profession, deeply influenced me. I was fortunate to have the chance to explore programming languages and even collaborate with him on small projects. The thrill of creating something from scratch and watching it function smoothly opened up a world of endless possibilities. Technology became more than just entertainment for me; it became an essential part of my life.

In addition, music has played a crucial role in my growth. I began learning the piano at the age of 3 and gradually developed a deep love for the melodies and rhythms of various songs. My passion for the sounds produced by the piano grew even stronger as I realized that both Chi and Chau were accomplished pianists. Chau, in particular, had gained fame and significantly influenced the younger generation in Vietnam during that time, further fueling my admiration for music.

The blend of technology and music as well as sports has molded me into a teenager driven by creativity and a thirst for continuous learning. Transitioning from a family-oriented boy, I have evolved into an ambitious and passionate individual eager to explore new horizons. Technology and music have become the wings that propel me forward on my journey toward adulthood.
